Sameera Reddy recently went on a shopping spree buying designer wear. But this shopping spree was for a "cause".


Designers Gayatri Khanna, Narendra Kumar, Nikasha Tawade and many more joined hands and auctioned their clothes, the proceeds of which went in aid of breast cancer patients.

The actress though reluctant to talk about her charitable deed, says, "I do not like to mention any social deeds that I do for a good cause.

I feel good deeds are not done to gain any sort of publicity. Imagine the plight of these cancer patients who survive with the fear of death.

If we can brighten up their lives for a few moments, then why not?" she says. Actors Kabir Bedi and Pooja Bedi also joined Sameera later.
